Gaming phones don’t make sense because mobile games are always a huge joke.
Anonymous, 25 Dec. 2021People get ripped off in mobile games. Even console gamers are smart not to spend more … moreConsole players pay Nintendo Online, Xbox live, Playstation Plus, etc. etc.
PC gamers pay scalpers for their GPUs / huge electricity bills / LED lights / chairs etc.
Mobile gamers pay to win. So if you’re just a casual⦠or if you don’t really care about winning or the best gear⦠this is the cheapest of them all!
FPS mobile gaming is getting bad I don’t know what to play anymore I should have better gaming phone to play on PC or laptop or Nintendo Switch more fun and without paying to win on mobile

Even console gamers are advised not to spend more than $ 60 on games. This is why games like COD MW 2022 have the potential to crumble because of the price.
the gaming phone is getting faster and cooler. but mobile games a lot of stupid p2w. Before 2015 there were a lot of games with cool gameloft stories
Probably 122FPS on Mobile Legends or similar games. Meh
I thought the rumor was going to be a gaming tablet with an 8-9 inch screen which is a perfect rival for the iPad Mini. But this is just another phone with a giant screen. No need. I will wait for the iPad Mini with 120hz screen.
BigDisplay, Dec 24 2021So you have no problem, just set it as you want in the settings and then … moreThe problem is, the punch hole is much more expensive than the bezel, and even the pop-up.
You can for an extra display that you won’t be using, is fragile because it’s not structural, and rather than all the amazing sensors we had before the notch followed by the punch holes killed them:
We’re stuck with a single camera, and both ambient light and proximity sensors are below the screen where they’re less effective and cost more.
And unlike a bezel where you can just hide the camera using a camera privacy shutter, you can’t do much over a punch hole or notch, even put your finger on it will drive the touch crazy and prevent you from doing anything else.
BigDisplay, Dec 24 2021But hey, some of us know it’s there and don’t care.It shouldn’t, it’s as stupid as if one day auto makers stopped making wipers and suddenly decided to only make cars with no windshields at all and except for a few obscure brands. or niche (Maybach), all cars except quadricycles (like the Renault Twizy, which doesn’t need a driver’s license) didn’t have one either.
No it can’t be the norm, the punch hole and notch have NOTHING to be standardized, they are wobbly solutions which are nice as an occasional feature but not by much.
Well, there was a pop-up front camera, like the Poco F2 Pro, and we almost had smartphones without a front camera at all, but the enemies killed them …

Anonymous, Dec 24 2021in case you haven’t noticed, not all gaming phones have a micro sd card slot and some gaming phones … moreYes, and that is EXACTLY why we have to say loud and clear that we always want them.
A gaming smartphone without an SD card is like a computer without any USB ports but only wireless options, completely stupid and unnecessary.
And a smartphone without a 3.5mm jack is dumb, useless, and useless like a car without a steering wheel but with motion detectors instead that will track your hand’s movement.
Dometalican, Dec 24 2021Remember boss, the last two Legion phones actually had a side pop-up camera (something I … moreMe too, but unfortunately the way they hide the upper middle part of the screen looks really suspicious here.
I really want to see more options, and I won’t complain if this is a pop-up, as this is one of my favorite solutions / designs.
IpsDisplay, Dec 24 2021We have to change that phrase Nowadays we have to say no cooling, no buyingFor a gaming smartphone, this is all important.
Some might say that “SD cards are too slow” which is only true if you buy cheaper ones, but when you want to install LOTS of games you need a lot of memory.
Playing in Bluetooth is stupidly bad, between the extra power consumption, the battery life of the wireless accessory itself, the audio lag, the inability to use both the dongle and charge the phone while same time, etc.
And of course, for a gaming smartphone, good cooling, whether passive or not, is a given.
Good fast charging with excellent heat management is also very important, either to charge quickly and reduce the waiting time between two gaming sessions, or to charge while playing without overheating.
Peter United Kingdom, Dec 24 2021Let’s see how Apple finds a way to advertise the punch hole as the best thing that … moreLooking at Samsung and its âInfinity Oâ thing might give you a clue.
The notch on the iPhone was actually a great design, it was just poorly implemented.
What it should have been was a mix between a bezel and a status icon display, with no access from the main display elements.
Like notch cache apps:
The screen was already much larger than the previous iPhone and didn’t need that extra space:
On the hardware side it’s exactly the same, there is just a software difference between the current notch and a “state bezel” implementation, the latter being much better because the bezel looks alive and less empty. while having as many sensors.
But the stupid war on the telescope has begun.
Fold test failed, no purchase …
JustSomeRandomGuy, Dec 24 2021I won’t mind if it’s a slight bezel on the top and bottom if that means not having any … moreAt this point any solution without the puncture / notch is a victory, there are just too many of them, there is no point in making more phones like this.
And while these are already seriously questionable in an ordinary smartphone, on a gaming smartphone, they are heresy.
A slim bezel is a completely normal design choice that has no drawbacks compared to perforations / notches and should be the norm, perforations and notches should be occasional, not common, let alone the only features. thing available.
JustSomeRandomGuy, Dec 24 2021I won’t mind if it’s a slight bezel on the top and bottom if that means not having any … moreSo you have no problem, just set it as you want in settings then
Nice for you
